Universal Epic Universe: Everything you need to know about the new park in Orlando

The countdown has begun! On May 22, 2025 , Universal Epic Universe will open its doors and forever change the theme park experience . With five immersive worlds , unprecedented theming , and attractions that defy the imagination , this new park promises to take visitors to a whole new dimension of entertainment .

Since Universal Studios Florida opened in 1990 , the Universal Orlando Resort complex has grown into an iconic entertainment destination with three theme parks , eight hotels , and a wide range of experiences .

Now, with the arrival of Universal Epic Universe , a fourth park is added that seeks to immerse travelers in universes full of magic, action and adventure like never before.

Universal Epic Universe will be located south of the existing parks at Universal Orlando Resort , with the official address 1001 Epic Blvd, Orlando , FL 32819. For ease of access , a complimentary shuttle bus system will connect Epic Universe with Universal Studios Florida , Universal Islands of Adventure , Universal Volcano Bay , Universal CityWalk , and the Universal hotels .

This gigantic park will consist of five interconnected themed worlds offering unique experiences . We detail them below.

1. Celestial Park

The heart of Epic Universe and the first world travelers will encounter upon entering, Celestial Park is a living garden with dazzling fountains and pathways that magically light up at night. In addition to themed restaurants and shops , it offers two attractions : Constellation Carousel and Stardust Racers . From here, portals lead to the other worlds .

2. How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk

Inspired by the hit film saga , this world will allow visitors to fly alongside dragons , immerse themselves in Viking life , and meet Hiccup and Toothless . Highlights include Hiccup's Wing Gliders , Dragon Racer's Rally , Fyre Drill , and the live show The Untrainable Dragon .

3. Super Nintendo World in Universal Epic Universe!

Nintendo fans can step into the world of their favorite video games . By crossing an iconic green tube , gamers and casual players alike will access Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country . Attractions include Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge , Yoshi's Adventure , and Mine-Cart Madness . Plus, using the Power-Up Band will make the whole experience interactive .

4. Dark Universe, the other universe of Universal Epic Universe

Stepping into Dark Universe is like crossing the threshold into classic horror . This themed world is inspired by legendary Universal monsters , such as Frankenstein and the Wolf Man . Its main attractions include Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment and Curse of the Werewolf , where visitors will experience terrifying and electrifying thrills.

5. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic

This world will transport us to the British Ministry of Magic of the 1990s and to the magical Paris of the 1920s , as seen in the Fantastic Beasts saga . Experiences include a live show , Le Cirque Arcanus , and the innovative attraction Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry . In addition, visitors can participate in interactive spellcasting activities .

Hotels near Universal Epic Universe

Universal Orlando Resort will offer several lodging options near Epic Universe :

Universal Helios Grand Hotel : Located inside Epic Universe , this luxurious Mediterranean-style hotel offers exclusive entry to Celestial Park , plus a pool with underwater speakers , fire pit areas , and a rooftop bar with spectacular views .
